"My saki has been going to see Dr. Choi and the amazing team for about a year now. He just got a bladder stone removal and neuter surgery which is why I am leaving this review. The whole team has been so caring and so good at responding with any questions I may have. They really listen to what you feel comfortable with while providing amazing care. Saki is doing amazing post surgery and the whole team has been checking up with him. So happy I found them!"

"This review is overdue! I love Angel City Animal Hospital! I used to take my dog and cat to another great clinic, but since I moved closer to Angel City Animal Hospital I wanted to give it a try. Dr. Pora Choi is so knowledgeable, experienced, patient, and kind. She always explains everything clearly and truly cares about the pets. The technicians and receptionists are all very kind and gentle with the pets and make sure they feel comfortable. During the pandemic, I was very impressed on how organized they were. Thank you, Angel City! Luigi and Josephine can't wait to be back there for their next visit!"

"I've been coming here for 5 years and I've felt well taken care of. While my dog is recovering from surgery, the front desk has been incredibly accommodating, indulging me in phone and photo/email check-ins just to give me peace of mind. The doctor herself is loving towards my dog every time, and everyone we work with seems to have reviewed our files before walking into the room, which I find incredibly professional and efficient - I don't have to fill anyone in on context or history. When a treatment or procedure is recommended, I feel they're upfront and honest about the necessity and risk, allowing me to make an informed decision rather than feeling pressured to say yes. They promptly fill subscriptions from online pharmacies, they move quickly on documentation requests. Everything is expensive these days, but from my experience the prices here are all pretty reasonable."

"The doctor has great passion and definitely cares for the animals. She has a lot of knowledge to help others and knows what she's doing. Very friendly staff. Experience for yourself.. you will know... This is an update for 2 years of experience going to this place. I did see some bad reviews that made me skeptical at first, but I made the right choice to become their patient. My dog loves every staff member in that hospital. Don't believe the bad reviews because they wouldn't say every single thing happened at the hospital. Like I said, experience it..."

Dr. Choi is an exceptional veterinarian who truly cares about their animal patients and takes the time to communicate everything clearly with pet owners. The practice makes scheduling easy, whether it's for routine check-ups or more urgent matters. When we bring out dog in for vaccinations it takes less than 5 minutes. The staff is prepared and organized. What sets Dr. Choi apart is their genuine compassion and thoroughness during every visit. They always make sure both pets and their owners feel comfortable and well-informed. If you're looking for a trustworthy and caring veterinarian, I highly recommend Dr. Choi!"

"Staff and doctor are A+. The only thing that can possibly be improved is the treatment pricing but you get what you pay for. The $49 visit is actually very good compared to my previous vet. Both the gentlemen that came to my car were GREAT and doctor spent ample time on the phone (due to Covid) explaining Panda's condition and her options. Very happy new client."

"Angel City Animal Hospital is truly a wonderful vet office! We are so grateful to have found them when we were living in LA. Dr. Choi is attentive, professional, and thorough but didn't push unnecessary tests or procedures. The vet techs were always excited to see our dog Sam and treated him very well even though he was anxious about being at the vet (he's a senior pup and has hated going to the vet long before coming here). Appointments were usually available within a week, but they reliably were able to see us within a day if we had an emergency. Overall, a vet that sincerely cares about the animals in their care!"

"I brought my cat here today. She refused to eat for 6 days and was vomiting constantly. I had great faith in this place because I had successfully had dental surgery on my old dog here before. As expected, my cat started eating on her own as soon as she came back from the hospital. It was so amazing and like a miracle. I highly recommend taking your pet to Angel City Animal Hospital if they are sick. For your information, my old dog had been given up on treatment at several hospitals... I had also paid a $500 deposit to a dental hospital that was extremely expensive. By chance, I found Angel City Animal Hospital, so we gave up the $500 deposit and came here. My dog recovered well and is still doing very well. My dog and cat, who were in critical condition at Angel City Animal Hospital, were given a new life. Doctor... Thank you so much..."
